SRINAGAR, Sept 9: A delegation of PM Package Employees Welfare Forum led by its president Sunny Raina today called on DC Kulgam to discuss the problems being faced by the employees working under Prime Minister special employment package for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
The delegation which comprised of Sunil Ji, Vinod Koul, Sanjeev Raina, Dharm Veer, and Sunil Raina also submitted a memorandum to the DC.
DC Kulgam convened a meeting of all officials under his jurisdiction regarding issues of K P Colony Vessu. The delegation informed him about their problems. All issues were discussed and deliberated fully. Each official was given substantial time for their responses to the queries related. The main issues discussed in the meeting were accommodation, HRA, delay in salaries, drinking water etc.
The DC assured the delegation that issues discussed in the meeting would be solved on priority basis. He directed all officials to make it sure that all issues regarding KP Colony Vessu should be sorted out within stipulated time. The representatives of Vessu Colony complimented him for showing keen interest in settling their demands.
