PM Modi hits campaign trail in Jammu; avers every vote counts in J&K

DOOMI MALPUR, JAMMU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asserted that each and every vote this time can take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights.

On the campaign trail, Mr Modi blamed Congress, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party for the situation in J&K.

”Indian National Congress joined hands with anti-national forces and those who supported terrorism,” averred Mr Modi, addressing a public meeting here in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma.

The Prime Minister said the Congress, NC & PDP were ”responsible for exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. They have lust for power and always cared for aspirations of their families.

”Because of their personal benefits, not only J&K but the entire nation faced the similar situation,” the grizzled veteran statesman said and alleged that integrity and dignity of the nation does not matter to the Opposition parties.

‘Dead wood’ Congress joined hands with those who ”supported terrorism,” said Mr Modi adding, ”they have no guts to take major decisions. (AGENCIES)
