PM makes telephonic call to Prof Gupta

JAMMU, Apr 21: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi inquired about the health of former Union Minister, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta by making a telephonic call to him this morning.
According to family members of Prof Gupta the call came from Prime Minister’s Office at 9.20 am this morning and he talked with former Minister for few minutes. First the PM inquired about the health of Prof Gupta and asked him to take care of his health.
The PM recalled his old association with Prof Gupta in BJP and also his other party colleagues with whom the Prime Minister had spent a long time as his party colleagues. Prime Minister said their memory is afresh in his mind still and he often remembers them.
Prof Gupta asked the Prime Minister that what he was doing this time and Narendra Modi replied that he was busy in fighting the Global COVID-19 which has posed a great challenge to the world as a whole.
Prof Gupta wished success to Prime Minister in his mission to bring nation out of the prevailing crisis and also complimented him for the various public welfare steps taken by his Government during the last six years of BJP rule at Centre.
