NEW DELHI, June 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today handed over the Bangladesh Liberation War Honour to the family members of his predecessor Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The Prime Minister handed over the award to Mr Vajpayee’s son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya, Ms Namita Bhattacharya and Ms Niharika Bhattacharya. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was also present on the occasion. Mr Modi had received the Honour on behalf of Mr Vajpayee during his recent visit to Bangladesh. (UNI)
