JAMMU, Apr 15: A delegation of All J&K Plus-Two Lecturers’ Forum, led by its general secretary R S Slathia, called on Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and had a threadbare discussions about the implementation of Assured Career Progression Scheme (Time Bound Promotion) in favour of Plus-2 cadre so as to end the age long stagnation in the Department on the analogy of other Gazzetted officers like Doctors, Veterinary Surgeons, KAS /KPS officers and others.
Slathia apprised the Advisor that he had assured the Forum delegation led by State president, Deepak Sharma earlier to concede their demand of ACP. Salary issue of newly promoted I/c Principals promoted vide Govt order no 121-education of 2019 was also discussed with the Advisor.
Ganai informed that the demand is under active consideration of Government and a high powered committee has already been constituted to look into ACP and other issues pertaining to Plus Two community. He also issued on the spot instructions to the concerned authorities for release of the salary of promotee Principals.
Others who were part of the delegation, included Tersem Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Ravinder Kumar Raina, Amresh Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Anil Pandita, Ravinder Kour, Asha Bhat, Sapna Suri, Shiva Kirti, Anita, Rohini Devi and Dalip Pandita.
