KATHUA, Oct 2: A one day Educational Conference/ interactive session was held at Government HSS Boys Kathua in order to nominate the District Unit of ALL J&K +2 Lecturers Forum. H R Pakhru Principal SIE/ Joint Director (Trgs) was chief guest and Balbir Singh, Chief Education Officer, Kathua was guest of honour along with S R Raghuvanshi Principal, DIET Kud. Madam Kiranjeet Kour Provincial President ALL J&K +2 Lecturers Forum along with Central body members attended this conference.
The conference which was attended by over 200 delegates including Principals, Sr Lecturers/Lecturers were present and discussed at length about the burning issues of the cadre viz-a-viz Running Grade Pattern to +2 lecturers, regularization of all cadres, transparent transfer Policy, inclusion of +2 cadre in the feeding services, Restoration of 40% College quota, Deputation of lecturers for Ph D, reorganization of the School Education Department, completion, parity in Board assignments taking due consideration of seniority and experience.
All the above officers and Provincial president agreed upon the above issues and assured their redressal at the proper quarter.
The whole programme was anchored by Satish Chandel Sr Lecturer in Physics where as prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Rakesh Brahmi, Pawan Gupta, Rakesh Singh Jasrotia, Romesh Slathia, Pardeep Singh, Dr Jyoti Parkash, Anil Kumar , Romesh Singh, Jatinder Sethi , Ashok Sharma (Udhampur), Subhash Sharma , Gulam Abbas ,Paawan Vivek, Upma Sharma , Pawan Sharma and Yograj Singh Singh.
The members elected for district Unit Kathua are as : Gulam Abbas (general secretary), Ashwani Kumar, Paawan Vivek, Chander Prabha, Upma Sharma (vice president), Satish Chandel (chief spokesperson), Karun Rampaul ( chief organisor), Inderjeet Singh (office secretary), Pawan Sharma ( publicity secretary), Rajinder Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Dr Devinder Sharma and Khairati Lal as Joint Secretary.
