Plight of Govt schools

Sir,
As the phenomenon of irregularities and corruption remained unchecked during the proceeding several years, it rendered the educational edifice defunct as can be corroborated from the fact that hundreds of schools either are closed or on the brink of closure due to mismanagement. Distrust and dissatisfaction for Govt schools prevails so thickly that not to speak of the teachers community, even a common man with slightest affordable position feels reluctant to get his child admitted in such a school. The fault entirely doesn’t lie on the teaching community, but faulty and loop-holed policies of the Department are considerably responsible for it. The rural areas where alternative means of education (Pvt schools) aren’t available, masses  of all shades (rich and poor) have to depend on Govt schools for education of their children. In the scenario existing, expecting quality education, as required to be imparted to our children, seems unrealistic and beyond reach. Apparently Govt schools need revolutionary reforms by streamling its policies and programmes. Hundreds of court cases where wrongful appointments are involved testify the grievances how the department remained neck – deep in malfunctioning. Education is primary need of mankind which enables  one to lead a meaningful life for self and the society. Therefore, any effort in this direction, is considered inadequate and necessary.
Yours etc…
