Sir,
The attention of the Jammu University authorities is drawn towards the inconvenience faced by the private Post-graduate students in getting their marks cards.
The students usually do not get these cards after they clear their exams, as is the norm. With the result, they not only fed embarassed, but have also to shell out more money to get the duplicate cards from the University.
When University authorities are asked about the same, their curt reply usually is: ‘they send them these cards well in time, but Postal Department falters to deliver them at proper place, and at right time”.
The postal authorities in turn blame the University for the fiasco. In this crossfire, the students become victims, and face the consequences for none of their faults. Will University authorities wake up to this problem and make any course correction in this important matter.
