This has reference to the select list of teachers of Jammu district cadre. Even after taking one year, the final list contains some reservations like ‘Recommendation withheld,’ and ‘Post left blank for want of certain qualification etc. One wonders how these lists are made and these remain a question mark on the working of the officials who are involved in framing the list. Does not these officials obtain all documents from the candidates at the time of interview. If a candidate fails to submit the documents within a specific period, why his name is not dropped from the list, and another deserving candidate fulfilling all eligibility condition not given a chance. It creates agony among those candidates whose post has been kept vacant under the caption ‘Post left vacant due to clarification’ etc. and among those candidates who have not been selected.
It is requested to the Chief Minister and the concerned JKSSRB authorities to ensure that the department takes every precaution so that only those candidates are selected who fullfil all criteria, and list complete in every aspect is released.
