Plea to Education Minister

Sir,
On behalf of female teaching fraternity I request the Education Minister for implementation of transfer/posting policy in favour of female teachers presently posted at far away places from their home districts. Though the ban for inter-district recruitment vis-a-vis transfer/posting was implemented sometime around in 2008, but the female teachers are the worst sufferers due to restriction on transfers in vougue. Though on one hand several female employee welfare schemes are being implemented by the State Government, the latest being the grant of two years Child Care Leave, but the ban on inter-district transfer/postings have added woes to the female employees resulting into severe hardships on social front. Routine absence for long durations from their families has added to the miseries of these teachers which have vice-versa affected their performance as well. The teachers posted in other districts have to cover long journeys for reaching their places of posting and virtually get exhausted and no energy is left with them to serve their cause.
In view of the above it is requested that inter-district transfer policy for female teachers may kindly be implemented for convenience of the female teaching fraternity. However, if the administrative constraints do not allow implementation of such policy,a fixed time frame (say 3 years or 4 years) may kindly be set for serving in the concerned district before considering transfer of the candidate to her parent district.
Implementation of the transfer/posting policy to their home districts would provide great succor to such teachers which would inter-alia increase their working capacity and would ultimately benefit the students. Hope that the request would be taken in positive way by the authorities at appropriate level and a specific policy would be framed for welfare/benefit of the suffering teachers.
Yours etc…
