JAMMU, July 23: Theatre group ‘Ek Sath Rang Mandal’ here today staged play ‘Niyyut Saaf Maksud Sahe’ at Bishnah.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
The play revolves around Koshalya—a housewife and mother of two kids who is thrashed daily by her drunkard husband.
Though she tolerated all this violence yet her children disclosed the same in their neighbour and the matter finally reached to some social group which asked Koshalya’s husband to mend his ways else action as per law might be taken against him.
Fearing police action Koshalya’s husband mended his ways and became a changed man.
The artists who performed in the play were Manish Kerni, Raju Mad, Shahid, Shelly, Kavita and Vijay Malla.
