JAMMU, Sept 26: The Planning, Development and Monitoring Department employees have decided to extend their strike up to September 29, 2018.
The employees had gone on two days’ strike on Sept 25 in response to the decision taken by the State Administrative Council regarding the shifting of Core Developmental responsibilities from Planning, Development and Monitoring Department to the Finance Department. The employees of the department have strongly opposed the move. In view of cool response of the Government, the employees have decided to extend their pen down strike for three more days.
