JAMMU, Feb 9: The Government has revoked placement of Muzaffar Mukhtiar Shah as In-charge Chief Engineer as he is figuring in a case FIR with the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
He along with six Incharge Superintending Engineers, was placed as Incharge Chief Engineer vide Government order number 197-JK(PDD) of 2021, dated 07-12-2021.
However, on 22-12-2021, the General Administration Department informed the PDD that Muzaffar Mukhtiar Shah is figuring in case FIR number 03/2020 PS ACB Srinagar, which is under investigation and following this, the vigilance status conveyed earlier was treated withdrawn.
Consequent upon the withdrawal of Vigilance Clearance, the case was re-examined and placement order in respect of Muzaffar Mukhtiar Shah as Incharge Chief Engineer was revoked ab-initio.
