JAMMU, June 7: Placement Cell of Government College of Education (GCOE) conducted a placement facilitation drive in its campus here today.
The College invited Principals and members of management committee of prominent B.Ed Colleges of J&K like—Khalsa College of Education, Calliope College of Education and Vimal Munni College of Education.
Eligible candidates of M.Ed section were insisted by M.Ed Coordinator, Dr. Rajinder Kaur to appear in the interviews conducted by a panel of experts comprising senior Professors of GCOE Jammu; Prof. Anju Bala, Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Prof. Satish Sharma, besides Dr. Probhjot Kaur, Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur of Khalsa College, Mrs Sunita Pandita, Principal Calliope College of Education and Dr. Gharo Chaudhary of Vimal Muni College of Education and Dr. Bandhana and Dr. Upasana of Rajive Gandhi College of Education Kathua.
The pass out students of M.Ed section appeared in the interview enthusiastically.
About ten students were recommended by the Advisory Committee of the College for available vacancies in participating colleges.
The placement drive was organised by Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Shalini Rana, Organising Secretary, Dr. Maansi Sharma, Prof. Rubina Yasmeen, Prof. Shapia Shameem and Prof. Ramandeep Kralia.
The faculty members who facilitated the programme were Dr. Sushma Bala, Prof. Shubhra Jamwal, Prof. Sarita Dogra, Prof. Vinaylata, Prof. Seema Kumari and others.
