Srinagar, July 9: People’s Liberation Army of China has last week intruded into Daulat Beg Oldi sector of Ladakh region and threatened locals in Hindi, sources said here.
Sources said that during a flag meeting between PLA and Indian Army at Chushul on July 3, Indian Army raised concerns over the PLA intrusion into Indian territory and threatening of its citizens.
Sources said that PLA have also broken and taken away high resolution camera that Indian Army had reportedly installed at the DBO before the stand off between Indian Army and PLA ended in April this year. The PLA also presented the camera to the Indian Army at the meeting which they had dismantled in the DBO sector.
However, Army is tightlipped over the incident and have refused to comment on the Chinese threatening Indian citizens and dismantling of cameras.
