PK organizes panel interactive discussion on KPs return issue

JAMMU, May 18: Panun Kashmir (PK) organized a panel interactive discussion on the recent moves of the Government over the issue of KPs return.
The function was attended by the prominent leaders, activists and intellectuals of the community who made their presentations on various aspects of the issue.
ON Pandita said that the Government needs to tell truth about the existing situation in the Valley so that an appropriate response is created at the national level on the issue of return. Resettlement of the community in the Valley is the issue of the Indian nation and it needs solution at a very high level and the community needs to be taken into confidence at all levels”, Pandita added.
BL Saraf said that the community cannot be taken for granted on a vital issue that has direct relation with our fate and future. For the Kashmiri Pandit community, living as true Indians in Kashmir has become a challenge now and this issue cannot be put under carpet by the powers, he stated.
HN Jattu in his address made a scathing attack on the separatist elements of Kashmir who he said are working under the dictate of foreign agencies. We have a strong claim on the territory of the Kashmir valley as the original inhabitants of the Valley and reiterate our position as such, he added.
Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, PK in his concluding remarks said that the Kashmiri Pandits are very well aware of the ground realities in Kashmir and cannot be hoodwinked by the strategic statements issued by political leaders.
Among others present were DN Kissu, BL Razdan, HL Bhat, Prof RL Kaul, Prem Singh, Pintoo, AK Diwani, CL Bhat, KM Thaploo and youth activists Sameer Bhat and Paras.
