PK mocks at Govt’s return policy on Pandits

JAMMU, June 1:  Panun Kashmir (PK) has termed the ongoing process of hit and trial initiated by the Government of India regarding the return of Kashmiri Pandits  as the policy meant to subjugate this ethnic minority.
Addressing the core group and the activists , Vijay Bhat, President, Panun Kashmir, said, “policy makers are being guided by the false premise that the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir is a governance problem and has to be addressed as a law and order issue but the reality is contrary to it.
He said the problem  of return and rehabilitation of the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandits can’t be addressed till the communal elements in Kashmir are fought out completely .It is a communal problem and the genocide of the community was perpetuated  by the Kashmiri Muslim communalism  that   is  implementing the grand design of Muslim precedence in Jammu and Kashmir to engineer the second partition of India, he added.
He said Kashmiri Pandit issue is not an electoral issue as they don’t constitute a vote bank. It is not a local issue but the communal issue as the majority community of Kashmir rejected co existence and denied democratic space to the minuscule community.”
Vijay Bhat further said, “townships  or composite townships are not the solutions  to  KP problem as Kashmiri Pandits are internally displaced people within borders of their own country and State and have been denied  equal rights as citizens of Indian nation. KP community is qualified to be declared as Internally Displaced People(IDP) and should be governed by the international  guidelines on crimes against humanity as Indian State has failed to  safeguard their right to  life and limb in their natural habitat.
