JAMMU, Feb 2: Expressing serious concern over the prevailing situation in Kashmir valley, the Panun Kashmir has decided to sensitize the Indian nation about the plight of the nationalist minorities in the State of J&K and accelerate its struggle for the carving out of a separate homeland in Valley.
This was stated today by PK general secretary Kuldeep Raina in an informal chat with reporters.
He said to intensify the struggle further for carving out the homeland within Kashmir as per Margdarshan resolution of 1991, the PK will organise rallies, corner meetings, seminars, workshops and women conferences at different places in the country.
Raina said a National Conference will be held in Union Capital tomorrow in this regard on the political re-organisation and aspirations of the religious nationalist minorities on J&K which will be followed by women conference on the role of KP Women at Jammu on March 24 by Daughters of Vitasta.
The theme of the Delhi conference will be re-organization of J&K State- a way forward.
He said PK’s long time demand has been the creation of homeland with the UT status on the North and East of river Vitasta in Kashmir for the reversal of genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, creation of separate state for Jammu, granting UT status to Ladakh and the settlement of PoJK refugees and citizenship rights to West Pak refuges.
He said the thrust of Women’s conference will be on the role of the KP Women towards the resurgence of the community to counter the social evils and create sense of duty of the community women towards the goal of homeland.
