Talking to reporters at a joint press conference here, today PK vice chairmen, Shailender Ambardar and its general secretary, Kuldeep Raina appealed to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to cancel all policies of GoI pursued for whatever reason which lead to denial of genocide.
“We once again want to inform that we have submitted the Panun Kashmir Prevention of Genocide and Atrocities Bill to Prime Minister India and successive LGs of the UT of J&K. We appeal to GoI to adopt this Bill and introduce it in the Parliament of India so that it is passed as an Act and becomes part of the Constitution of India”, they said.
Reiterating the demand for reversal of genocide, the PK leaders said there is an imperative necessity to declare a Nuremberg type of trial based on the principles of the UN convention on prevention and punishment of crime of genocide. “It is an imperative national necessity to prevent the expanding genocidal attrition of the Hindus in various parts of India”.
Taking cognisance of the statement of Prime Minister of India that truth about Hindus of Kashmir has been suppressed, the PK leaders expressed the hope that GoI will not delay in cancelling all policies on J&K which led to denial of genocide.
In response to a question on Vivek Agnihotri’s Movie Kashmir Files that has been released recently all over the country, Shailender Aima said that the film has unfolded the truth and brought the plight of Kashmiri Pandits who suffered genocide in Valley through the hands of terrorists before entire world.
He said it was a very bold move of the Agnihotri who despite all odds mustered courage to bring the truth before the world after realising the pain and agony of the exiled community.
The film has dislodged all distortions and it is an amazing depiction of genocide, said Kuldeep Raina.
He said that it is high time for GOI to recognise the genocide of the Pandits and punish those who were responsible for the same.
Daya Krishan Koul another vice chairman PK, general secretary, Kuldeep Raina, organising secretary Bihari Lal Koul and its senior leaders P N Raina and S K Sher and M K Dhar were also present in the press conference.
