UDHAMPUR, Oct 7: A truck hit a motorcycle near Narsu on Udhampur-Chenani National Highway killing the pillion rider and critically injuring the biker.
The deceased has been identified as Kailasho Devi (58) wife of Lal Chand resident of Satyalta while the injured, was identified as Naresh Kumar (34) son of Lal Chand of village Satyalta.
The injured was admitted at Sub District Hospital Chenani.
Sources informed that the deceased lady was mother of the injured biker.
The accident took place at around 6.15 pm when the ill fated motorcycle bearing registration Number PB10 GM-2495 was hit by a truck bearing Registration Number JK03H-8193 at Arsian.
Police and locals shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors declared Kailasho Devi as brought dead.
Chenani Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
