JAMMU, Dec 1: A photo exhibition on migratory birds was inaugurated today by DIG Jammu Kathua Range J.P. Singh at Kala Kendra.
Joint Director Information Jammu Soujanya Sharma was also present on the occasion.
The event organised by the Department of Information in collaboration with the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages will showcase the photographs by renowned photographer Guldev Raj.
Mr Singh appreciated Guldev Raj for such rare photographs which magnificently portray his love for nature and will be a treat for the bird lovers. He said that Guldev’s work is an asset to the State.
The exhibition will remain open from 10 am to 9.30 pm till Decembers 5th and other highlights of the event include departmental stalls, book fair, house hold items stall, teracota, joy rides, cultural programme, etc.
Cultural programme was presented by artist of Information Department.
