RAJOURI, Aug 19: A PHE worker drowned into a dug well in Thannamandi area and died this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that PHE worker, Mohd Ayub was on duty at pumping station, Palangar. He was busy in some work at the dug well and fell into it and drowned. Later, people of the area came to know about the matter and they informed other PHE staff and police. The body was fished out from the well and later shifted to Thanna hospital for postmortem. The police took cognizance of the matter.
