UDHAMPUR, June 27: Water Works PHE employees held a meeting under the chairmanship of Som Nath at PHE complex Udhampur for highlighting the demands, like release of pending wages, DPC and regularization of the daily wagers.

While highlighting the issue of shortage of staff in PHE, the Association stressed that before fresh recruitment, the workers serving in the department for the last 20-25 years should be regularized.

Som Nath urged the Lt Governor to consider these demands, particularly regularization of the workers so that the Association is not forced to adopt agitational path.
