JAMMU, June 27: Pouni Chak police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pouni Chak Police Post led by SI Rohit Bhagat laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 45 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Gulab Singh of Shahpur Gho Manhasa.
A case under FIR Number 163/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
