JAMMU, Aug 1: The casual workers of PHE Department under the banner of J&K PHE ITI trained and CP Workers Union has decided to go on protest/kaam chodo hartal from August 4.
This was disclosed by president of the union Tanveer Hussain while addressing a press conference here today.
Hussain stated that Government assured them for framing of a regularization policy, but nothing has been done till date.
He urged the Government to frame a policy for the regularization PHE ITI trained and CP workers.
He added that the Union is going to launch protest/kaam chodo hartal for 72 hours from August 4 and if Government failed to redress their demand, they will go on indefinite strike.
Among others present were Subash Chander, Deepak Gupta, Manjeet Singh, Sumit, Dushyant Sudan, Mushtaq Ahmed, Parvez Ahmed, etc.
