PHC Tikri gets NQAS certification

JAMMU, Oct 4: Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tikri has achieved a major success by securing certification of National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) from Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, in recognition of its high standards and performance.
The Hospital scored weightage of 90 percent and overall rating of 85 per cent, and met all criteria required for achieving the NQAS certification after undergoing assessment by a team of empanelled External Assessors on August 2021. The NQAS certification has been granted to the Hospital for a period of one year.
Speaking on the achievement of the Hospital, BMO Tikri Dr Anil Sharma said that it is indeed a proud moment not only for Udhampur district but also whole J&K. He attributed this achievement to his team and doctors as well as staff of PHC Tikri. NQAS certification has given us new energy to and now, we will work with more zeal to provide quality health services to the public, he added.
