UDHAMPUR, Apr 19: Demanding completion of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Badhota building and posting of adequate Medical staff there, locals of village Dhandi, Kousal, Chai and Loudhra in Panchari block protested against Health Department.
The protestors raised slogans against the Health Department and District administration Udhampur for their failure to respond to grievances of the villagers. They also appealed to Governor Satya Pal Malik to issue necessary instructions for completion of work on PHC Badhota building’s second floor, which was started eight year ago
Further, the villagers said, there are sanctioned posts of two Doctors, one Medical Assistant, two NO and one ANM for this PHC, which is presently being run by a NO without medicine. They threatened to adopt agitational path if the sanctioned PHC staff is not posted there immediately besides completion of the construction work.
