JAMMU, Feb 20: A deputation of J&K Post Graduate Teachers Association (PGTA), led by Naresh Kumar, called on Director School Education Simrandeep Singh and submitted a memorandum apprising him of cases of promotion of some teachers on fake B Ed degrees.
The PGTA explained that the Jammu University had already made it clear that Jamia Urdu Aligarh University in UP was neither recognized by JU nor UGC. The Association demanded immediate cancellation of the promotion of those who had secured B Ed degree from the Jamia university.
The Director gave a patient hearing and assured early redressal of the demand.
The deputation comprised of Paramjeet Singh, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Ravinder Rao, Prem Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Sanjeev Gupta, Ashok Kumar and others.
