RAJOURI, Apr 21: PG College, Rajouri organised two subsequent Extension Lectures on the themes, “NMR Spectroscopy” and “Solid Catalyst in Organic Synthesis” to the Postgraduate Students of Chemistry under the lead of Prof H S Ishar the Head of Department and patronage of Prof S H Shah, the Principal of the College.
Dr (Prof) Kamal K Kapoor and Dr (Prof ) Satya Paul of Chemistry Department of Jammu University were the key-note speakers.
Prof H S Ishar presided over the proceedings of the lectures and the Principal was the chief guest on the occasion. Apart from it all faculty members of chemistry and other departments were also present during the deliberations.
The lectures were coordinated and anchored by the Prof Z A Mirza and Prof Assadullah Khan. Prof H S Ishar illuminated the students with the significance of such informative and subject oriented lectures and promised to keep up this culture in the department in future as well.
