JAMMU, May 28: Jammu and Kashmir Petroleum Dealers Association president, Rahul Gupta today met Mayur Mehta, Territory Manager, BPCL and discussed the global crises and shortage of petroleum products in J&K.
During the meeting, Gupta expressed concern about frequent MS/HSD stock-outs caused by delays in indent approvals.
He made a request for priority tanker allocation and faster approval processes, especially when stock levels of any one product fall below 40 per cent.
Issue of rising fuel prices and difficulties faced by dealers in maintaining inventories was also discussed along with the issue of difficulties faced by dealers for refusing customers for re-fuelling in plastic bottles and unauthorised plastic cans.
Other important trade-related issues such as dealer commission revision and delays in automation maintenance were also discussed.
Mayur Mehta assured that all the concerns raised would be brought before the appropriate authorities for consideration.
