PET, PST dates announced for recruitment in Women, Border Battalions

16 Head Constables of Telecom Cadre promoted

SRINAGAR, June 23: Chairmen of Police Recruitment Board for 2 women Battalions and 2 Border Battalions have announced dates for conducting physical standard test.
According to the notification, all the candidates of Kashmir Province who have applied for the post of constables in 2 women battalions that their Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) which was stalled earlier because of COVID-19 pandemic is now being conducted at CRPF RTC SNR Ground Humhama from 28.06.2021 to 30.06.2021.
As per another notification, all the candidates belonging to Kashmir Province (District Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara) are informed that their Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) shall be conducted on 3.07.2021.
The candidates of 2 women battalions and 2 border battalions are advised to download their Admit Cards and Undertaking/No Risk Certificate from 24/06/2021 and 28-06-2021 respectively from 0900 hours on J&K Police Website (www.jkpolice.gov.in) which should be duly signed by the candidates and counter signed by parent/guardian before their participation in the event. The candidates are advised they must also be in possession of a COVID free certificate with them. The COVID RTPCR Test must have been conducted within the last 48 hours. Besides, the candidates are required to bring alongwith them admit cards, valid ID proof and all original testimonials.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters Srinagar has issued promotion orders in respect of 16 Head Constables of Telecom Cadre to the next rank.
As recommended by the Departmental Promotion Committee and after a thorough scrutiny of the service records, promotion in respect of 16 Head Constables of Telecom Cadre to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors in the said cadre has been ordered.
DGP Dilbag Singh has expressed hope that the promotion will serve as an inspiration for the officers to perform their duties in higher ranks with more dedication and zeal.
Those who have been promoted are Balbir Chand, Anil Kumar, Aijaz Ahmad, Koushal Kaiser, Sanjay Koul, Bashir Ahmad, Ayaz Ahmad, Tanveer Ahmad, Sunil Kumar, Reyaz Ahmad, Malik Abdul Wahid, Romesh Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Gh. Hassan, Naresh Matto, and Rajesh Chand.
