JAMMU, June 9: The members of the J&K High Court Personal Staff Association have decided to go on mass causal leave on June 11 in protest against in-action on the part of High Court authorities in considering their genuine demands.
Their demands include amendment of 1968 Rules governing the High Court staff service conditions; applicability of SRO 386/2008 to the person working in the category of Private Secretary; promotional avenues for the officers working in the capacity as Joint Registrars/Secretaries/Bench Secretaries; Career progression scheme as made applicable to the Judicial Officers; Promotions to the post of Senior Stenographer/Junior stenographer under in-service category; Provisions for 2 ½ days salary to the Jamadars/Drivers and regularization of adhoc/ daily wagers who have completed more than seven years of service.
The Association said that a number of representations were made to the concerned authorities but no step has been initiated to concede their demands.
