POONCH, June 15: J&K BJP chief and MLA Nowshera, Ravinder Raina, who today reached to the family members of martyr Army rifleman, Aurangzeb, in village Salani of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district, assured them that cowardly killers of the jawan will not be spared.
As soon as the State BJP chief reached the native village of the martyr jawan to express his condolences to the family, thousands of people gathered there from nearby villages started raising slogans of ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ and ‘Pakistan Murdabad’.
Accompanied by Vice Chairman of Pahari Board, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MLC Pardeep Sharma, Sunil Gupta and a large number of BJP workers, Ravinder Raina then moved towards the house of martyred jawan. While expressing his heartfelt condolences to the family, the MLA Nowshera, assured the family none of the killers of the Aurangzeb will be spared and our security forces will finish them one by one.
The rifleman, who was ‘buddy’ of a company commander, was abducted by militants at Kalampora in Pulwama yesterday morning when he was on his way home to Poonch district for Eid celebrations.
His body was found by a team of police and Army at Gussu village, about 10 km away from Kalampora, in Pulwama district. He was shot in his head and neck. Aurangzeb belonged to 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and was posted at the 44 Rashtriya Rifles camp at Shadimarg in Shopian.
