People want sympathetic leaders, not cheaters: BJP

Excelsior Correspondent
Srinagar, Dec 4: BJP leader and Kashmir Media in-charge, Manzoor Bhat today said people of J&K want sympathetic leader, who would be elected as Chief Minister in the upcoming elections, “not those who have deceived people”.
He stated that regional parties exploited the people on the name of development and progress. “Now people of J&K want sympathetic CM as they are fed-up of the politics of regional parties and are happy with the Centre’s decision,” he said.
Bhat said there would be no space for the cheaters in J&K and people have rejected them in recent Block Development Council polls.
He said Government of India removed the barrier between people of Government after detention of ‘corrupted politicians’. “In 4-5 years people would see a change and there would be development in every sector in J&K,” he said.
Bhat said in previous Governments, there was rampant corruption and blue eyed people were given preferences in Government departments. “Common people were neglected. Now BJP has addressed the root cause of the problem and removed all the barriers in the region,” he said.
He said that the local politicians had been enjoying Government accommodations and failed to meet the expectations of the people over decades.
