MENDHAR, Oct 16: Due to break down in many areas and poor services of BSNL in district Poonch and parts of Rajouri, the people are facing a lot of problems since Thursday.
Reports from Mandi, Surankote, Mendhar and parts of Poonch said that due to virtual break down of land line, mobile and internet services of BSNL, the people of the area are badly affected for the last two days. Even the banking and ATM services have been affected with it, causing most inconvenience to the people of this border belt. Not only this, the work in many offices and other private establishments has been badly hit.
The people of the area have strong resentment against the BSNL authorities and they have urged upon the State authorities to intervene as it has become routine affair in Rajouri-Poonch for the last several months and the company officials pay no attention towards the matter. They are only bothered about generating revenue against the poor services, which is illegal and highly unjustified.
