UDHAMPUR, Jan 22: Alleged illegal construction in a nallah adjoining the National Highway at Jib Morh, Rehambal, led to a strong protest by some locals.
The protesting people alleged that the construction was illegal and some people were attempting to encroach upon the nallah. The protesting locals also blocked the National Highway for some time and later called on ADC Udhampur Vikas Sharma. They apprised the ADC of the illegal construction work and demanded immediate stoppage of the .
The ADC assured necessary action under law.
