UDHAMPUR, Apr 26: Up in arms against non-availability of ration, people held a strong protest demonstration against Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Deportment at Jakhani, Domail, here today.
The agitating people were shouting slogans against the CAPD Department for its failure to provide ration from the last four months. They also staged a dharna and blocked the road for some time.
They alleged that the Government was imposing unethical and non-practical policies without knowing ground realities thus increasing the public problems. They also announced to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting their grievance.
