RAJOURI, Mar 5: Some people today again blocked Jammu-Poonch road and held protest demonstration at Muradpur near Rajouri today.
The agitating people were shouting slogans against the police authorities for allegedly harassing innocents in connection with the attack on father and son when they were carrying two bovine animals in the area two days back. The people raised barricades and disrupted movement of traffic for about one and half hour.
Later, DSP Headquarters Hamid Choudhary reached there and assured the people that innocents will not be arrested. On the assurance the people they lifted dharna from the road and allowed movement of traffic.
