MENDHAR, Apr 21: The people from Mendhar town held protest demonstration against the BSNL authorities outside the main office of the company here today.
The people from the town assembled outside the main Telephone Exchange here and started protest demonstration. They alleged poor Mobile, internet and land line phone facilities in the area. The agitating people alleged that all the four Telephone exchanges in Mendhar, Mankote, Dhar Galoon and Harni area remain out of order for the days together and nobody bothers about the public plight. There was no adequate staff to look after and Mobile phone towers also remain non-functional when there is no power. There was no check and the people have been left to suffer. They threatened to put a lock on the main offices and exchanges if the Company officers failed to take cognizance of the issue.
