MENDHAR, Feb 6: Local residents and traders held protest demonstration against the BSNL authorities here today.
A large number of people assembled outside local Telephone Exchange and shouted slogans against BSNL authorities for very poor services in the area. They alleged that not only mobile phone, the landline and internet services are also very poor. The people of the area are badly affected.
Later, people moved to the office of SDM Mendhar, Romesh Kumar and lodged their protest. The SDM then talked to CGM, BSNL J&K Circle at Jammu and asked him to improve the services and pull up the field staff of the area for poor delivery of services. The people then dispersed and suspended protest.
