RAJOURI, June 4: Agitating people from Jawahar Nagar area of Rajouri town against power failure today locked an Executive Engineer and AE of the PDD Department inside the temple here complex.
The people of the area today came out on the road and then started protest demonstration at Jawahar Nagar. Later, Executive Engineer and AE PDD reached the spot and the agitating people locked them inside nearby temple during discussion. They remained detained there for about an hour. Later, SHO Rajouri and DySP Ch Hamid rescued the PDD officials. They assured to restore the power within three hours.
