JAMMU, Nov 18: A protest was held today by the people against the negligence of the concerned traffic officials of the department as also their other long pending demands.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement said that the traffic officials of the department have badly failed to regulate smooth traffic on the ever busy “Ambphalla- Janipur High Court road resulting in traffic chaos. He also demanded construction of fly-overs at Rehari and other populated areas.
Dimple said various memorandum have been sent to the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti through the IG traffic that due to the negligence of the traffic department and PWD R&B, ERA, JMC etc accidents are frequently taking place.
He also announced to hold mass rally on November 23 against worsening traffic scenario.
