JAMMU, Oct 15: The residents of Bazigar Basti (Chhanni Kartholi), Bari Brahmana and relatives of Kaka Ram son of Yash Paul held protest demonstration and raised slogans against police, today.
The protesters had gathered at Jammu-Pathankot National Highway, near Dhiansar were demanding justice for Kaka Ram, alleging that he was beaten by police late last night in lock up.
On getting information, SDPO, Bari Brahmana, Sajjad Slaria reached the spot and assured the people that the matter will be investigated and action under law taken against those found guilty. On his assurance the protestors dispersed and traffic was restored on National Highway
