Cong holds mega road show in Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, Apr 9: Continuing his vigorous campaign, former Minister and Congress candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary candidate Raman Bhalla today took out mega road show in Gandhi Nagar constituency in which hundreds of voters, supporters, participated besides Corporators, Sarpanchs, Panchs and youth in huge number raising slogans in favour of Bhalla.
Large number of people in hundreds of four wheelers and two wheelers, raising slogans in favour of Bhalla invited attention of all where people standing on road sides waited for Bhalla to arrive and gave him rousing reception at several places extending their support by raising their hands making victory signs. The rally started from party office, Gandi Nagar and passed through Gandhi Nagar, Balmiki Chowk, Gorkha Nagar, Press Morh, Bawe Bali Mata, Bye Pass, Rajiv Nagar, Qasim Nagar Chowk, Sunjwan, Bathindi, Malik Market, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony via Dilli, Greater Kailash, Trikuta Nagar, Nanak Nagar via Bahu Plaza, Preet Nagar, Industrial Estate, Kunjwani Chowk, Gangyal, Digiana, Shastri Nagar, Dudhadhari Mandir, Nai Basti Market, Satwari Chowk, Airport Road, Gadigarh, Rohi Morh, Bhour Camp, Chatha Pind, Govind Pura, Raipur Satwari, Beli Charana and culminated back at Gandhi Nagar party office. While addressing series of meetings during the road show, Bhalla expressed confidence that Congress Party will win the ensuing Lok Sabha election with a thumping majority and extended his appeal to people of entire Jammu and Kashmir to exercise the franchise in favour of the Congress candidates to ensure defeat of BJP, which is responsible for the damages caused to peace and development both in the country and State.
He said Congress is fully capable to defeat the communal and fascist forces which are hell bent upon to divide the people on religious and regional lines to serve their vested interests, but at the same time, he said people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have realized the politics gimmicks of various groups and parties which were trying to make inroads in the Valley to create confusion among the voters.
He stressed upon the people to remain vigilant against the political exploitation by BJP and ensure victory of Congress Party in the ensuring Lok Sabha elections.
