HIRANAGAR, Aug 2: The irate mob blocked the Jammu –Pathankote National Highway for one hour this afternoon in protest against water scarcity in Benhoad village of Hirangar.
The protestors including men, women and children staged a demonstration on National Highway this afternoon protesting against the failure of the PHE Department in restoring the motor of the PHE pump in the area which has resulted into disruption of water supply in the area.
Later on the intervention of senior police officers the people lifted the road blockade.
