JAMMU, Jan 28: The J&K Pensioners Association has urged upon the Government to release pending DA installments of the pensioners and employees without any more delay.
The Association president, ML Abrol in a press statement here said that two installments of the DA of the employees and pensioners are pending for the last over one year. He said in view of the sky rocketing prices of the essentials including LPG etc, the pensioners are facing hardships. He also demanded enhancement of Medical allowance of the pensioners from existing Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month.
