POONCH, Nov 22: A Pension Adalat for ex-servicemen of Poonch and Rajouri districts was conducted during Poonch Link up Day celebrations.
A team of JAK LI Record Office provided necessary guidance and solution to the problems of the veterans. They noted the grievances for appropriate action and also at the Record Office and Pension Department at CDA.
Most of the ex-servicemen being from JAK LI in the area were benefitted. Around 250 ESMs utilized the services of the Pension Adalat.
A large number of ex-servicemen from far flung border areas including Mendhar, Poonch and Krishna Ghati of the district attended the event.
The chief guest on the occasion was Lieutenant General DS Hooda, GOC 16 Corps, who interacted with the ex-servicemen.
