PEEU lists demands

JAMMU, Aug 5: Provincial Electric Employees Union (PEEU) in a meeting   held under the chairmanship of its president, PC Sharma at Hirangar today highlighted various demands of power employees.
The meeting accused the Government and authorities of Department of their callous attitude towards the employees of PD and PDC.
Addressing the meeting Mr Sharma demanded releasing of technical grade to ITI train employees, regularization of daily wagers and causal workers, amendment in recruitment rules and extension of benefit of SRO 59 in Jammu region on the same analogy as it was implemented in Kashmir Valley.
The meeting also decided to celebrate the Independence Day at Hirangar with great pomp and show and appealed all the employees to participate in the function.
It warned the Government of serious consequences in case it failed to solve the long pending and genuine demands of PDD employees.
