UDHAMPUR, May 18: A pedestrian was here today killed after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Garnai Nallha on National Highway.
According to police sources one Gadharab Singh, son of Avtar Singh, resident of Garnai, Udhampur received critical injuries when he was hit by some unknown vehicle.
He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment but the doctors attending him declared him brought dead.
Body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of the hospital for autopsy.
After completion of legal formalities body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
