Pedestrian killed, 22 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, July 26: A pedestrian was killed while 22 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A Bus JK03B/2928 driven by Farooq Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat hit a pedestrian Abdul Rashid Bhat son of Mohammad Shaban Bhat of Bangwar, Baramulla near K.B.Pora, resulting in his on spot death.
Three person were injured when a Tata Sumo JK01L/1289 and Maruti Car 800 JK01G/ 3789 met with an accident at Malik Aangan in Ban Mohallah, Srinagar. The vehicles were partially damaged. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
16 passengers were injured when a passenger bus JK02E/8421 collided with a Truck JK13B/6875 at Mirgund Chowk in Pattan. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Maruti car JK09/0394 met with an accident at Ganapora Highway in Kralgund, Handwara, resulting in injuries to car driver Zahoor Ahmed Bhat of Gund Kharoo, his wife Mehmooda and daughter Rabiya.  All the injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has filed cases in these accidents.
